Nen: Specialist

Emperor Time: When JB's eyes shift into scarlet, he changes from a Conjurer to a Specialist. This ability allows him to utilize all the types of Nen to 100% efficiency. JB explains this using the terms "Level", "Force", and "Accuracy": his "Levels" in the various Nen categories remain the same during Emperor Time, but his "Force" and "Accuracy" for every category are raised to 100%. Thus, if JB's "Level" in Conjuration was 10, his "Level" in Emission (the polar opposite aura type) would remain 4 at the most, but his "Force" and "Accuracy" in any Emission ability would increase from 40% to 100%, making him evenly matched against a Level 4 Emitter. However, the price to pay is considerable, as every second spent in this mode shortens JB's lifespan by one hour.

Stealth Dolphin: JB can summon a dolphin-like construct with a syringe on each pectoral fin that is visible and audible only to himself. This construct can "equip" and analyze the stolen ability, informing JB of its name, functions, and conditions. JB can then use the stolen ability for himself or loan it to another person, including non-users, by stabbing them with the Steal Chain. In the latter case, a listening device is conjured in that person's ear that enables them to see the dolphin and communicate with it via telepathy. The dolphin can counsel the new recipient on how to use the ability, and will utilize it itself when given the order by the recipient of the loaned ability. When JB or someone he has loaned an ability to activate it, it is fueled with the aura that Steal Chain took from its owner, ensuring that it is used with its original power. A side-effect of Stealth Dolphin is that when it is used on a non-user it will allow them to see aura and, after the loaned ability is activated, semi-force all of their Aura Nodes open, essentially making them Nen users, although training is still necessary to control one's own aura flow and prevent its leakage.

If JB equips the dolphin with a stolen ability and transfer it to someone else he can use Steal Chain again, but transferring it does not allow him to exit Emperor Time until he call back the dolphin and the stolen ability have to be used for that. Regardless of who controls it, a stolen ability can be used only once, after which it is returned to the original user. As a downside, as long as all stolen abilities are not returned, Emperor Time will remain active. The dolphin will regularly notify JB of how long Emperor Time has been active for unless it is put on standby, in which case it can be made to disappear. Should JB faint while someone else is using an ability loaned to them by him, that person will pass out as well.

Memory Bomb: JB could implant memories (including his own) by shooting them into another person's head using a revolver and conjured bullets called Memory Bombs. This was not a combat ability and inflicted no damage. However, if he shot someone with their own memories (which he had previously read), the person would lose those memories.

Soul Doll: The ability to make a doll copy of a person that the target is strongly thinking about. Conditions in performing Soul Doll are:

JB's doll must be adjacent to the target while that person is thinking of someone. When the doll is adjacent to the target, it will turn into the person that the target is thinking about. The real person of whom the doll is based cannot feel or notice this (without actually being there).

Abilities of the dolls:

Can emulate the memories, consciousness, and Nen abilities of the original person being copied. Even if the consciousness of the copy does not agree with JB, he/she cannot disobey his orders.

The doll is complete when it has absorbed the eyes from a living human being. However, even if the eyes are absorbed, nothing special occurs. They can only see through that person's eyes as how the original owner would. They do not become stronger or gain any other special abilities. Even though the Nen abilities of the dolls are as strong as the memories of the person they were taken from, the physical strength and durability of the dolls are limited.

The person who got their eyes stolen from a Soul Doll can still see through the Doll's eyes, JB covers this weakness by closing the Soul Doll's eyes.

If a doll that stole a person's eyes is defeated, the eyes will return to the original owner.
